Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy AntWave is a local calculation tool focused on microwave and antenna engineering. We highly respect and protect your privacy. The core calculations of this app run completely offline on your device. We do not actively collect, store, or upload your personal information. All application data and diagnostic logs are stored strictly on your local device and are under your full control. To provide you with a complete functional experience, we will request the following device permissions when you use specific features. We promise that all data obtained through permissions is only used for real-time calculations on your device and is not uploaded to any server: 1. Photo / Storage Permission (iOS only — for calculation result export) Usage: When you tap 'Export / Save Image', we need this permission to search for and create a dedicated 'AntWave' album in your photo library, and save the generated calculation result images into it. Promise: Due to system mechanisms, saving to a specific album requires requesting read permission. Aside from writing the generated images, we will not read, view, scan, or upload any other photos or files in your photo library. 2. Location Permission (only for "Satellite Finder" page) Usage: When you use the "Satellite Finder" function to calculate ground station antennas, you can choose to click the GPS button. The device will obtain your current precise latitude and longitude data to quickly calculate the azimuth and elevation angles of the antenna, saving you the trouble of manual input. Promise: This location data is only used for local mathematical calculations at the moment you click. We will not track your location in the background, record your movement trajectory, or transmit your location data to any third party or our servers. 3. Clipboard Permission (only for copying data) Usage: When you long press / double-click to copy table data on the "Standard Rectangular Waveguide" page, or copy our contact email in "Feedback", we need to call the system clipboard's write function. Promise: We only "write" the text you actively select to the clipboard for your external pasting use. We will not read any existing content in your clipboard, nor collect or upload your clipboard data.
